Financial Support for Eligible Cancer Patients
Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) is a Government of India health assurance programme designed to provide eligible beneficiaries access to cashless hospitalization at empanelled government and private hospitals.
Cancer care is available through defined oncology packages. The exact treatment depends on the diagnosis, clinical treatment plan, applicable PM-JAY package and required authorization.

Oncology Treatment Available Under PM-JAY
Depending on medical requirements and the applicable approved package, PM-JAY includes different forms of cancer treatment.
Medical Oncology
Chemotherapy and other medical oncology treatments may be available through applicable PM-JAY cancer treatment packages.
Radiation Oncology
Radiation therapy may be covered where clinically required and included within an approved oncology treatment package.
Surgical Oncology
Eligible cancer surgeries may be covered through defined surgical oncology packages following required approval.
Hospital & Diagnostic Care
Relevant investigations, medicines and hospitalization can form part of applicable approved treatment packages.
